2) What is Adventure City Games?

Adventure City Games creates unique experiences that allow you to explore the city using your smartphone all while respecting current public health guidelines from Quebec and Canadian governments. The adventures, which are a mix of treasure hunt, walking tour, and escape room, are all enjoyed in the great outdoors! The adventures will not require you to enter commercial areas or interact with others/public/civilians. Our games are offered in English and French.

3) How does it work?

It's very simple. Upon purchase of any of our games, you can play when you want for 12 months. When you are ready to play, go to the starting point and launch your game with the link in the activation email. Then wait for instructions from the narrator character (via text, email or call) by our narrator and the rest is a surprise.

The regular price for a player is $18

5) How long do the games last?

The games can take from 55 mins to 2h30 depending on your speed as you're moving through the game. Time is limited between each puzzle (30 minutes most of the time)

6) Can more than one person play on the same cell phone?

Yes, but in order to have the best possible experience, it is recommended that each player plays on his or her phone. So everyone can be active during the game.

7) Can we play without a cell phone?

No, your cell phone will be your best ally in answering puzzles. It will also be necessary to receive text messages, check your e-mails, access the Internet or even answer a call...

8) Do we need to reserve a time to play?

No, this is one of our advantages. You don't need to book a time to play. After purchasing a game, you will have 12 months to launch your adventure whenever you want. 9) What do I need to do before playing a game?

Our games are designed to be played by as many people as possible. However, the complexity of some puzzles may make the game less suitable for some children. In addition, because time is limited (30 minutes per puzzle most often), people with reduced mobility or visual impairments may have more challenges. If you are in doubt and think that a game may not be suitable for one player, we recommend that another person accompany him or her. You can play with more than one person on the same phone at no extra charge.

1) I bought a game but I didn't receive the activation email, why?

4) I can't launch my game, why?

Your activation link is probably no longer valid. After purchase, you have 12 months to launch your game. Your activation link is also for one-time use only. If you want to play again, you need to purchase a new game session. If you are sure that your activation link is valid, please check that your cell phone has not lost the Internet connection.

5) I didn't receive the text message to launch the game, why?

It may happen that a text message is sent but there is a delay or problem in its delivery. This may be related to your telephone operator. We have no control over this type of problem, that's why we also offer a web version in case of any issue. You will receive the necessary information in the email “Important instructions to read about your game” which will allow you to launch the game in any case..

6) I don't get the emails during the game, why?
